A night of Rumi with Kayhan Kalhor

I had 5 minutes to shoot  very quietly at the beginning of a night of Rumi and classical Persian Music with Kayhan Kalhor at Herbst Theatre in San Francisco. Here’s a photo that I like and picked among not more than 20 photos of tonight.

Javad

Javad is a wonderful friend and that’s the only way I can explain his personality.  I met this PhD research fellow of Stanford and NTNU ( Norwegian University of Science and Technology) for the first time less than six months ago and we had so much fun hanging out together. This is probably his last photo in the US before his trip to the his second home country Norway.
