Blind-walk
October 26, 2011
A few weeks ago, we did a blind-walk photography in the college campus. I developed the film and enlarged one of the photos today. It was a wonderful feeling to experience something that I experienced almost 12 years ago. Here’s the contact sheet and also a photo that I did with closed eyes. It seems that I was looking through the view finder when I was shooting it but the reality is that I wasn’t. My eyes were fully covered. The lady in the second photo is one of the students of our class that was helping me out to walk with closed eyes.

Real photography

It’s fun going back to the old days before digital cameras. School starts today and I have taken basic photography class for this quarter. This time not to teach but to learn
– And also would be a great opportunity to test this old Leica M4 again. I have missed photography with film cameras. I have missed real and good photography.
Looking for a location

My friend Ali, his wife and I walked in Stanford university’s campus today to find a good spot for the photo-shoot that we are going to have on Monday for Art in Farsi website. He wants to update the old photos of his website which is going to make me busy doing the photo-shoot on Sunday. Here’s a photo of them with natural light.
